31 May 2025 – Ibiza, Spain | On Friday 30 May, Ibiza witnessed a defining moment in global nightlife as [UNVRS] – the island’s most talked-about new venue – opened its doors for the very first time. Over the course of the night, thousands of music lovers from around the world gathered to witness history in the making – an experience that shattered expectations and redefined what a club can be.
THE ARRIVAL
Monumental in ambition, layered in concept, and hand-crafted in every detail, [UNVRS] has been built with a singular vision: to create the most complex, breathtaking club in the world. Conceived by The Night League, the creative force behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, and led by Owner, Founder and CEO Yann Pissenem – the venue represents a bold new chapter, part nightclub, part sculpture, part dream.
[UNVRS] tells the story of a club lost to time, reborn centuries later and crafted to live forever. The building channels the spirit of a traditional Ibizan finca: whitewashed walls, natural stone, and earthy textures root [UNVRS] in the island’s soul. The name reflects the venue’s monumental scale, evoking space and mystery—a place beyond time and location.
Visitors were welcomed by a massive UFO sculpture, crash-landed at the entrance, hinting at the surreal experience ahead. As they entered, guests descended the grand main staircase, [UNVRS] revealed its full scale: a massive main room alive with immersive visuals, breathtaking light displays mapped across towering walls and performers, all powered by a crystal-clear, custom-built L-Acoustics sound system.

THE EXPERIENCE
The venue blends indoor and outdoor zones seamlessly, encouraging movement across terraces, mirrored corridors and layered floors – each revealing its own sensory universe. Every room is distinct – part cinematic dreamscape, part sonic sculpture – with architectural references drawn from brutalism, retro-futurism, and contemporary art deco.
At [UNVRS], VIP is elevated to an art form. The sweeping, inverted-U balcony offers panoramic views of the pulsating dancefloor below – where the energy of thousands fills the main room, powered by cutting-edge sound and light.
Beyond the dancefloor, [UNVRS] is a labyrinth of discovery. One standout area, the Wild Comet, is a fully equipped, fully styled micro-club located within a toilet. A DJ booth sits at the center of the space, surrounded by sound-reactive lighting and walls treated with the same acoustic precision as the main room. It’s a hidden club-within-a-club. Outside, lush open-air terraces await, such as the Gravity Garden, where party-goers are surrounded by nature, and the Sky Deck, which offers breathtaking views of Ibiza Town and Formentera. Then there’s the iconic Dome, crowned by its spectacular centrepiece “Tree of Life.”
Every detail, every space at [UNVRS] is designed to elevate the experience – whether you’re on the dancefloor or taking it all in from above.
THE PRODUCTION
The opening featured a spectacular, one-night-only production created by the internationally renowned team at High Scream, led by Romain Pissenem. Throughout the event, clubbers were treated to a breathtaking fusion of cutting-edge kinetic lighting systems, immersive LED visuals, and more—soundtracked by pristine audio reverberating through every corner of the venue.
With storytelling at its core, the night unfolded as a sensory journey through light and rhythm. Acrobats descended through sculpted shafts of light, digital visuals pulsed in perfect synchronicity, and jets of smoke fired from the ceiling in a dramatic simulation of lift-off. Futuristic LED pods emerged like stairways to the stars, while lasers mounted on moving winches carved kinetic pathways above the crowd. Laserblades introduced an entirely new visual language in laser effects, boldly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in live production.
THE FIRST SOUNDS OF THE UNIVERSE
Dutch DJ Carista had the honour of selecting the very first track ever played at [UNVRS], ringing in a new era of nightlife to the tune of Tornado Wallace “Bitter Suite (Symphony Mix)”. The energy continued to build with powerful sets from Ahmed Spins, and Adam Ten back-to-back with Mita Gami. The night truly shifted into gear when Michael Bibi took the stage, delivering a spectacular set in his signature underground sound.
What followed were two explosive back-to-back performances by four of Ibiza’s most iconic and respected acts. Joseph Capriati and The Martinez Brothers joined forces for two hours of driving house and techno before handing the reins to Carl Cox and Jamie Jones. Reporting for closing duties, Ibiza legend Cox and Paradise head honcho Jones delivered a marathon set that brought the Main Room to a euphoric close, finishing with the anthemic “Playing With Knives” by Bizarre Inc.
Over in the Wild Comet – [UNVRS]’s club-within a club, tucked behind the main dancefloor and nestled in the heart of the venue’s toilets – the energy never let up. A seamless stream of selectors including Pascal Moscheni b2b Frankybeats, Salomé Le Chat, S.A.M, and KOKO kept the dancefloor alive. As sunrise broke over Ibiza, local favourite Paul Reynolds closed the room with a driving set that carried the crowd into the morning.
THE FUTURE
What began as a viral marketing phenomenon – featuring a Balearic UFO sighting and a surprise appearance by Will Smith – has now come to life. [UNVRS] reimagines nightlife on an arena scale, fusing cutting-edge architecture with the raw, untamed spirit of Ibiza. It’s modular, transformable, and built to host everything from underground moments to world-class spectacles. As summer starts and the world’s clubbing community descend upon the island, [UNVRS] has become a must-visit destination.

Ibiza, 31 de mayo de 2025 | El pasado viernes 30 de mayo, Ibiza fue testigo de uno de los momentos más significativos de la vida nocturna global. [UNVRS], el nuevo club que ha captado la atención de medio mundo, abría sus puertas por primera vez. A lo largo de la noche, miles de amantes de la música llegados de todos los rincones del planeta se congregaron para asistir a un acontecimiento que ya es leyenda, una experiencia que superó todas las expectativas, redefiniendo lo que un club puede llegar a ser.
LA LLEGADA
Monumental en su ambición, con múltiples capas de concepto y una dedicación artesanal en cada detalle, [UNVRS] nace con una visión clara: crear el club más impresionante y complejo del mundo. Concebido por The Night League —la fuerza creativa detrás de Ushuaïa & Hï Ibiza— y liderado por su propietario, fundador y CEO, Yann Pissenem, este nuevo espacio inaugura un audaz capítulo en la historia del entretenimiento: parte club nocturno, parte escultura, parte sueño.
[UNVRS] narra la historia de un club perdido en el tiempo, renacido siglos después y creado para vivir eternamente. El venue canaliza el espíritu de una finca tradicional ibicenca: muros encalados, piedra natural y texturas terrosas que enraízan a [UNVRS] en el alma de la isla. Su nombre evoca una escala colosal, pero también el espacio, la eternidad y el misterio: un lugar más allá del tiempo y de cualquier coordenada.
Una escultura gigantesca en forma de OVNI, estrellada en la entrada como si hubiera caído del cielo, daba la bienvenida a los asistentes, anticipando la experiencia mágica y surrealista que estaban a punto de vivir. Al cruzar el umbral y descender por la gran escalinata principal, [UNVRS] descubría toda su magnitud: una sala principal de proporciones imponentes que vibraba al ritmo de visuales inmersivas, juegos de luces hipnóticos proyectados sobre paredes monumentales y performers. Todo ello impulsado por un sistema de sonido L-Acoustics diseñado a medida y de una nitidez cristalina.
LA EXPERIENCIA
El espacio fusiona con fluidez zonas interiores y exteriores, invitando al público a moverse entre terrazas, pasillos espejados y niveles superpuestos, cada uno con su propio universo sensorial. Cada sala posee una identidad única —a medio camino entre un paisaje onírico cinematográfico y una escultura sonora— con referencias arquitectónicas que beben del brutalismo, el retrofuturismo y el art déco contemporáneo.
En [UNVRS], el concepto de VIP se eleva a la categoría de arte. El balcón en forma de U invertida ofrece vistas panorámicas de la pista de baile que palpita justo debajo, donde la energía de miles de personas inunda la sala principal, potenciado por un sonido y una iluminación absolutamente vanguardista.
Más allá de la pista de baile, [UNVRS] es un auténtico laberinto de descubrimientos. Uno de sus espacios más singulares es Wild Comet, un microclub totalmente equipado y diseñado…¡dentro de un baño!. En el centro, una cabina de DJ preside la sala, rodeada de luces que reaccionan al sonido y de paredes tratadas con la misma precisión acústica que la sala principal. Un club oculto dentro del club.
En el exterior, exuberantes terrazas al aire libre ofrecen nuevas dimensiones de la experiencia: el Gravity Garden, que sumerge a los asistentes en plena naturaleza, y el Sky Deck, con vistas imponentes a Ibiza ciudad y Formentera. Todo culmina en la icónica cúpula, The Dome, coronada por su espectacular pieza central: el “Tree of Life” (Árbol de la Vida).
Cada rincón, cada detalle en [UNVRS] está pensado para amplificar la experiencia, tanto si estás en plena pista como si lo observas todo desde las alturas.
LA PRODUCCIÓN
La noche inaugural contó con una producción impactante e irrepetible, diseñada especialmente para la ocasión por el prestigioso equipo internacional de High Scream, bajo la dirección de Romain Pissenem. A lo largo del evento, los asistentes disfrutaron de una fusión hipnótica de sistemas de iluminación cinética de última generación, visuales LED inmersivos y una experiencia sonora impecable que reverberaba en cada rincón del club.
Con la narrativa como eje central, la velada se desarrolló como un viaje sensorial a través de la luz y el ritmo. Acróbatas descendían entre haces de luz esculpida, los visuales digitales latían en perfecta sincronía y ráfagas de humo disparadas desde el techo simulaban un espectacular despegue. Cápsulas LED futuristas emergían como escaleras hacia las estrellas, mientras láseres montados sobre poleas móviles dibujaban trayectorias cinéticas sobre la multitud. Los innovadores Laserblades introdujeron un nuevo lenguaje visual en efectos láser, superando los límites de lo posible en la producción en vivo.
LOS PRIMEROS SONIDOS DEL UNIVERSO
La DJ neerlandesa Carista tuvo el honor de seleccionar el primer tema jamás pinchado en [UNVRS], marcando el inicio de una nueva era en la vida nocturna de la isla al ritmo de “Bitter Suite (Symphony Mix)” de Tornado Wallace. La energía no hizo más que crecer a cada instante, primero con los potentes sets de Ahmed Spins seguidos de un explosivo back-to-back entre Adam Ten y Mita Gami. El momento álgido llegó cuando Michael Bibi tomó el control, desatando un set inolvidable de su inconfundible sonido underground.
Lo que vino después fueron dos back-to-backs de alto voltaje entre cuatro de los artistas más icónicos y respetados de Ibiza. Primero, Joseph Capriati y The Martinez Brothers se unieron para dos horas de house y techno enérgico como solo ellos saben, antes de ceder el testigo a Carl Cox y Jamie Jones. Encargados de cerrar la noche, Cox, leyenda de la isla, y Jones, cabeza de Paradise, ofrecieron un set maratónico que llevó el Main Room a un final eufórico, culminando con el himno “Playing With Knives” de Bizarre Inc.
Mientras tanto, en Wild Comet, el club dentro del club de [UNVRS], oculto tras la pista principal y ubicado en pleno corazón de los baños, la energía no decayó ni un segundo. Una impecable sucesión de selectores como Pascal Moscheni b2b Frankybeats, Salomé Le Chat, S.A.M. y KOKO mantuvo la pista en plena ebullición. Con el amanecer asomando sobre Ibiza, el favorito local Paul Reynolds puso el broche final con un set vibrante que llevó al público hasta bien entrada la mañana.

Lo que empezó como un fenómeno viral —con un avistamiento de OVNI en Baleares y una aparición sorpresa de Will Smith— ha cobrado vida. [UNVRS] reimagina la vida nocturna a escala arena, fusionando arquitectura de vanguardia con el espíritu libre y salvaje de Ibiza.
